Travel to Gili Meno in Indonesia – right next to Gili Trawangan.

There are jewel-like islands near Lombok island. It’s called Gili Trawangan, Gili Meno and Gili Air.

Gili Trawangan, I introduced the last post was good to stay for the entertainment. There are so many resorts, bars, cafes, restaurants, and tourists.

If you want to look for not a crowded and calm place, Gili Meno and Gili Air would be good choices, but I hope you visit all three islands. They have each different atmospheres.

Today’s story is about Gili Meno.

It takes only 10 to 15 minutes from Gili Trawangan to Gili Meno by public boat.

The pier of Gili Meno is very shallow, so public boats can’t approach there.  For that, I had to transfer to a small boat on the sea near the pier.

What I said is this small boat.

If you don’t want to walk or ride a bike, You can take this horse cart.

This island is also small, so you can go anywhere by rental bike. I visited a seaside cafe made of woods to take a rest and snorkeling.

You can see Gili Air across the sea.

If you are energetic or outgoing, you could feel a bit bored in Gili Meno or Gili Air. However, I think it might be quite good to go feel the silence even for a short time.
